Certified Tutor

I am a temporary lecturer at Baylor University, where I teach SPA 1301 and 1302. I graduated from Baylor in 2019 with a Master of Arts in Spanish, where I wrote a thesis on physical and psychological death in the poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca. I am graduating from the University of North Texas this summer (2022) with a Master of Arts in French. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and another in French from the University of St. Thomas, with a minor in General Business, in 2016. I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America program.

My philosophy in language learning is to help the student fall in love with the language and the possibilities inherent in speaking another language; this includes studying the diverse cultures that speak it, not only in Europe, but in North America, Africa, and Asia. I want to help students learn another language to interact with more people and broaden their perspectives, in order to become better global citizens.
