Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Stony Brook University and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, as a precursor to law school. I have extensive experience tutoring in terms of age range and subjects. Most recently, I was an undergraduate TA at Stony Brook for History of Modern Italy and Italian 112. I offered weekly office hours to help individual students with course and material related questions. I was also an ESL tutor at Babylon High School through "Homework Club". I created Homework Club as an incentive for students to socialize and help each other. I would explain assignments to the students, go over effective test taking strategies, and review for the NYS Regents exams. I think that students should be offered every educational resource available. The most important resource is an attentive teacher or tutor. Aside from tutoring I enjoy reading, running, yoga, and traveling. I studied in Florence, Italy for 4.5 months, which influenced me to concentrate in European History at Stony Brook.
