I received a bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Windsor, Ontario and a masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. I have been teaching biology and chemistry courses for over five years. I am currently teaching biology and chemistry for pre-nursing at Nevada State College. I can tutor biology and chemistry including general biology, AP biology, physiology, microbiology, general chemistry and biochemistry.
I believe teaching is about delivering the knowledge you have to the best of your ability in a way that students can understand. Through my teaching experience, I found out that different students learn in different ways. There is one goal I want to accomplish in tutoring and that is the success of students. I believe every student has a potential to succeed, they just have to work hard and get the help they need form their teachers/tutors. And I will make sure students I tutor get all the help they need in order to succeed.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe teaching is about delivering the knowledge you have to the best of your ability in a way that a student can understand. Through my teaching experience, I found out that different students learn in different ways. Whatever technique you use to help one student might not work for another student. You have to find a method that works for each student.
