My areas of strength are largely in Math and Science. I completed my Master's in Chemistry at NYU and my Bachelors at Vanderbilt University where I studied Chemistry and took Math through Differential Equations.

I have tutoring experience in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Most of my students have been college students in need of help with General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. My teaching style centers on explaining concepts and making students think there way through problems. I find many students are unsure of exactly how to study for Math exams and I believe I provide good instruction for how students may best prepare in their personal study time. Generally, when students have difficulty with problems I prefer to have them work them for themselves and talk them through any stumbles they may have. I find this aids retention better than simply having them observe me doing the problems for them.

I work with students at all levels be it the A student upset with the A- from a previous exam or the student struggling to understand the basic concepts.
