Certified Tutor

I have a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am a graduate of Arizona State University. I am a certified teacher, and have taught grades Kindergarten through Second Grade. I have experience in tutoring students Kindergarten through Sixth Grade in reading, writing and math. One of my favorite things about teaching is working with students one on one to meet their individual learning and academic needs. This is where my love for tutoring comes in. Through one on one instruction, I can connect with students and learn what is best for them and together we can make goals for success, growth and development. I really enjoy laying the foundations for early education through teaching students how to decode, encode comprehend, problem solve and explore. I know that with time and effort every child can learn and love learning. In my free time, I like to do crafty projects, take pictures, hike, watch movies and spend time with the people I love.
