I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Arts in History and minors in Hispanic Studies and Consumer Psychology. While at UPenn, I was involved in working with K-12 students in the surrounding West Philadelphia public schools. My experiences working with students during college propelled me to apply for the program Teach for America before graduation. Teach for America places recent college graduates and working professionals in schools located in low-income areas. I moved to Phoenix upon graduation to teach elementary school in a public charter school. Since that time, I have taught fifth grade Math and History, middle school History, and second grade. In May 2013, I graduated from the Mary Lou Fulton College at ASU with a Master of Education in Elementary Education. I enjoy working with students on Math, Reading, and History. Every students learning needs are different, and I work to adapt my teaching style to the individual. I am passionate about teaching and helping students reach their goals! In my free time, I enjoy working out and doing Crossfit, reading nonfiction, cooking, baking, and spending time with my dog, Dolly.
