Certified Tutor

I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 2009 completing a double major in Political Science and Philosophy. Since graduating, I started a non-profit organization specializing in global leadership and study abroad opportunities for college students. In the last few years I have transitioned out of the real-estate field into healthcare. I am currently applying for Nurse Practitioner programs. Science course are some of my favorite to tutor as they require special study techniques and strategies. In addition to assisting students learn the material, I put a large emphasis on providing my students with the techniques they need to retain information and think critically about the topic. I have been lucky enough to have traveled a good portion of the planet. Turkey, South Africa, and Thailand are a few of my favorite spots I have spent time in. In my free time I volunteer at Highland Hospital, go on hikes in Redwood Regional Park, and plan my next international adventure.
