As a tutor, I hope to share not only my knowledge but also the love of learning that my teachers instilled in me as a student. I have personally experienced the difference individual attention can have on a student; seeing teachers sit down and explain a subject to someone who is having difficulties is inspiring! In college, I would get excited not just about learning, but about conquering a subject after having a conversation with one of my professors about a class. Individual attention has such an impact because it allows teachers and tutors to personalize a subject and address the unique needs of the student. I was lucky enough to have excellent teachers growing up, and I hope to pass on my positive experiences to other students!
