About Me

Over the years I have discovered a passion for teaching. Sharing knowledge with others, supporting them to overcome any challenge, and helping them achieve their academic goals has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. As a tutor, I am committed to empowering my students and supporting their academic and personal growth. I believe the foundation to successful tutoring to be a mutually trusting and accommodating relationship; thus, I am a firm believer of individualized lesson plans that play to the unique strengths and weaknesses of each student. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University, I have a strong understanding of both fundamental and advanced topics in biology - from introductory biology to microbiology, evolutionary biology, and more. Furthermore, I am also well-versed in chemistry - from general chemistry, to organic chemistry and biochemistry. Having scored a 517 (94th percentile) on the MCAT and an ACT composite score of 35, I understand how challenging the MCAT & ACT are, but more importantly, I recognize the strong test-taking strategies, healthy studying methods, and support system that form the foundation for effective exam preparation.
