About Me

Hello! I started tutoring by accident and fell in love with teaching. I first started tutoring organic chemistry as an undergraduate, then I had microbiology during graduate school, and now I'm tutoring K-12. My heart has always been science but I enjoy lower levels maths such as basic math with Algebra as my stopping point. My background is in biochemistry and biomedical sciences. Chemistry is my favorite subject because it includes math but in reality anyone who studies chemistry or biology should have a good understanding of both to succeed. It is my experience, there is no one way to learn, everyone has their own style. As a tutor, I ask a lot of questions in the beginning so I can determine the learning style so I can alter my teachings. I will use every tool I have in my arsenal to ensure my students understand their material. I look forward to helping as many students as I can succeed in the math and science.
