- During my early college days I also spent time as a journalism student and spent time tutoring for the SAT writing section.
About Me
I graduated from Stony Brook University Cum Laude with a B.A. in History and French Language and Literature, focusing my History major on Modern European History. These two experiences, along with my eventual alignment with French literature and history, developed my writing skills and made it one of my strongest and most comfortable subjects. History has been a lifelong love of mine and my energy and passion to teach is derived, in large part, from my fascination with mankind's past. I find that history has, for me, the most natural feel when it comes to teaching because the act thereof does not simply entail the recital of fact, but rather the recounting of a greater narrative within which the facts and specific events of the past may be found. Outside of academia, I am an avid reader, enjoying works in both French and English, and take joy in traveling, football, and various types of games, including those played with cards, boards, or on television screens.
