I am a graduate of Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a BS in Mathematics and an MA in Education from Cal State Dominguez Hills. I am currently a teacher in the LAUSD at a high school in the Harbor area. I teach Algebra I and a creative writing/journalism course.

While my original degree is in math, I feel comfortable tutoring history, sciences, and helping edit English papers. I tutored math throughout high school and college as a side job.

As a teacher, I'm choosing to tutor because I feel that I have energy enough to make a difference. Motivating young people to learn is a difficult task that I embrace daily.
