Originally from central Minnesota, I earned my BA from Hamline University in 2013 with a degree in English, a concentration in creative writing, minors in women's studies and psychology, and a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language. When I wasn't working on academics, I wrote for the newspaper, served as a new student mentor with transfer students, and worked at a toy store in a nearby mall. Currently, I'm working toward my MA in early childhood education from Concordia University.
