A BA in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus, a BS degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University and a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Writing, from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN are where I received my formal education. I've taught adult learners working on their GED's and all grades at the Elementary levels K-6. For 28 years I taught at Minneapolis Public schools where we welcomed the Mong, Somalian and Latino students as well as the white and black students. Situated close to the University we had 26 languages spoke there! I use a friendly and straightforward teaching style to create a positive learning relationship. I've learned the quality and depth of your education makes for having many choices in your life. I tutor Creative Writing, Elementary Reading and Writing, English, Reading, and Writing.
