Between undergraduate graduation and Business School, I worked as a trader at Goldman Sachs. I am passionate about helping students to improve their standardized test scores across the GMAT, SAT and ACT, with a focus on the Critical Reading and Writing portions of the exams. I am also knowledgeable across a variety of corporate finance topics such as M&A, financial accounting and capital markets. I spent several years working with elementary and middle-school aged children as a chess tutor when I was in high school.

I received my education from the University of Florida, where I am currently an undergraduate student working on obtaining my bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering! I love to focus on the details of a problem when teaching, so that my student will be able to fully comprehend any problem that rises before him or her!I currently tutor all levels of Algebra, from Pre-Algebra to Algebra 3/4, multiple levels of Calculus, from Pre-Calculus to Calculus III, Chemistry, Engineering Statics, and Spanish. My favorite subjects to tutor, however, are Algebra II and Calculus III, because these are often the most challenging subjects in a student's journey to higher education! My teaching philosophy is centered around working hard while also enjoying a side of fun. Everything can be accomplished with this philosophy while studying! I love preparing students for the obstacles they might face while pursuing academic excellence. I will always make my utmost effort to make sure that my students understand the concepts they are learning at school. Some classes may be tough. However, with hard work anything can be accomplished. After graduation, I worked as a Technology, Computer, and Math Teacher in different middle and high schools abroad until I got married and settled with my family in Johns Creek.While my family is my number one priority, Math is my number one passion. After my kids went to elementary school, I returned to professional work in education. I started working for Fulton County School System as Para-Professional. I addition, I also took several tutoring jobs at different Mathnasium in and around Johns Creek. I have been tutoring for approximately 4 years. I am trying to balance my life between my passion to math and my responsibilities to my family.Currently, I am working on my Ga teaching certificate, focusing on middle school math, but the process is taking longer than expected due to my full-time job and my responsibilities for my Kids. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and received my Bachelor of Science with a focus on Civil Engineering in addition to being a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. Since college, I have traveled the world as a field engineer, designed residential neighborhoods and mentored younger engineers. Mathematics is a passion of mine and I want to share this enthusiasm with the growing minds. I am very patient, adaptable and strive to increase my student’s math competency and problem solving techniques. The most efficient way to master math is by continually working math problems until it becomes second nature. My extracurricular activities include kayak fishing, competing in long distance runs, and baking healthy desserts.

Every year the knowledge base of the world increases dramatically. More than just adding to the cumulative knowledge of the past, some would say that information is increasing at an exponential rate. Currently, students are being asked to absorb this information; often without a proper structure or guidance as to how this can be accomplished.
