I am a recent graduate of Wayne State College where I got my degree in Elementary Education (K-8) with endorsements in English as a Second Language (PK-12) and Reading/Writing (PK-6). Over the last year I taught first grade and fell in love with teaching. While I was in college I worked with students K-6 as an ESL paraprofessional, a homework tutor, a STEAM teacher, and as a substitute.

I am a native Chinese speaker. I grew up in China and speak standard Chinese. I am also a second language learner; therefore, I understand the challenges one face when learning another language. My teaching experience will also help you grasp the skills and tricks of memorizing the the tones, vocabulary, and sentence structure. I do hope to work with you.

I have earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in BioChemistry and Mathematics from Wayne State University.
