I am a student at Utah State University that loves learning and teaching. I have three years of experience teaching/tutoring from elementary to high school!

My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging, supportive classroom where every student feels valued and capable of success. My goal is to help students develop a love for reading by incorporating their skills and interests. Through childcare, tutoring, and volunteer experience, I've developed a passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
I enjoy helping people learn new skills and gain a more complete understanding of difficult subjects. I'm only recently tutoring, but I have years of experience as a tennis coach to children and youth. I'd love to help you learn Spanish and/or improve your ACT score!
I'm studying at Utah State University majoring in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology. I'm especially interested in genetics. I love both making and listening to music. I lived in Estonia for about a year and learned to speak Estonian so that part of the world has a special place in my heart. I like to meet new people and am always looking for learning opportunities.
I enjoy learning as I have a curious mind. I also am a strong believer in sharing passion and knowledge when possible. Proud of my French heritage, I love teaching the culture and language.
I Graduated from Weber State University in 2917 with an Elementary Education certificate. Soon after I began teaching in a Brick and Mortar school where I taught grades k-8. I currently am a virtual teacher where I teach students from all over the country. Prior to being a licensed teacher, I worked as a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional specializing in helping students who struggle in Language arts and Math. I am qualified to teach using the Orton Gillingham Method as well as Reading Simplified. I believe everyone can learn and love helping my students reach their full potential.
Hello! I have been a classroom teacher for over 20 years. I love working with students and being able to see them finally understand something. I look forward to working with you!
I believe it is valuable for all people to learn a 2nd language.
My name is Ben. I struggled as middle school student mostly because I had a hard time focusing. I became an educator to help kids like me learn about the amazing world we live in. I have taught middle school geology and literacy. I have a background in chemistry, physics, political science and math up to calculus 1.
My teaching (and tutoring!) philosophy is that students will learn best when they are confident in their ability to grow academically, and comfortable to ask questions or admit when they need help. My philosophy also focuses on the importance of how the teacher presents themselves and the energy that they carry. I believe it is a teacher's responsibility to create a safe, calm, and student-oriented learning environment that is not rushed, angry, or impatient. I believe I am a top candidate as a tutor because I have a M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology, and 7 years of classroom experience. I understand that scheduled time with a student is not to be wasted, or rushed. I do not believe in taking phone calls, texts, doodling, reading, etc. when working with a student. I am an experienced professional that loves her job, and I understand how important it is to the student and their families, that I do my job properly and effectively. If there is ever anything that I am unsure of, I will be truthful and say that I don't know, instead of providing students with the wrong information. Consistency, patience, communication, professionalism, and encouragement are what I look forward to offer as a tutor!
One of my favorite things to do is to find answers to questions and learn new things. When I am able to help someone learn through tutoring, I get to relearn the material with them through their lens, often in ways that I didn't consider. My goal as a tutor is to help you learn the material, answer your questions, and improve as a student and learner of information.
With over two decades of unwavering dedication to education and a profound passion for teaching, I've had the privilege of instructing a diverse array of subjects, ranging from English and Biology and other various disciplines spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. My commitment to advancing the field of education led me to pursue a master's degree in Educational Leadership. I find immeasurable joy in working with students, regardless of their age. I am adept in tutoring English, Literature, Biology, Health, Nutrition, Fitness, and various forms of writing, including creative, technical, and technical. I am also well-versed in assisting with Reading, High School Biology, AP English, and ACT/SAT preparation in English, Literature, and Writing. My teaching philosophy centers on viewing each learner as a "whole person" and tailoring my approach to accommodate their distinct learning styles. I approach education with patience and empathy, recognizing that each individual has their own unique learning style.
