I believe in making the learning environment focused but fun. I am passionate about music theory and Web Development! I've taught music for 5 and a half years and I'm continuously improving my Web Development skills! I currently am teaching adults a wide array of diverse topics. I believe in asking questions and clarifying understanding so don't be afraid to ask!

I hold a doctoral degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University. Currently I am a postdoctoral associate at Trinity University where I am pursing additional training in teaching and research. Teaching has been a passion of mine; from my eagerness to mentor the kids in my neighborhood to my excitement of giving a mini lecture on the concept of balancing chemical equations in my middle school class to the time I gave my first research talk in college. Such moments have played a significant role in my long term career goals of teaching and mentoring students as they prepare for their different academic work. My attitude towards learning is "don't be afraid to ask for help". Essentially, I look forward to working with students to help them succeed in the areas they need help with.

I have taught elementary for 40 years. I retired in May, 2019. I would love to tutor your child. I am a published author, and love reading and writing, but can tutor your child in any elementary area. Since the C. Virus has closed schools in Oklahoma, I am your answer to the problem of your children missing out on much needed education.

I am a graduate from the University of North Texas. I received my M.S degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I am passionate about biomedical research. I have been a biology and French tutor for more than four years. As a teaching assistant and a tutor, I listen closely to the student's concerns and provide academic assistance in courses such as Biology, Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, and French. I can teach in English and French as well. My hobbies are reading, traveling, cooking and playing tennis.

My experience tutoring starts informally in high school. I loved being able to help my fellow classmates understand a new concept. Since high school, I have formally tutored students in the college setting. I worked with students to write and edit college level papers. My favorite students to work with are ESL students. I love learning about their culture while helping them learn mine.I am currently a 7th grade English teacher. We read many styles of literature and work with different styles of essay writing. I prep my students for state testing, and I start a foundation for ACT testing. I have previously taught 11th grade English: on-level and remedialWhen I am not teaching, my hobbies include painting and going on adventures. My favorite art style is mixed media art. My adventures extend all over the United State as well as over seas.My hobbies have helped me grow as a teacher and as a tutor by giving me the opportunity to see the beauty and possibility in the world. I am a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and I received my graduate degree in Special Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1996 and my graduate degree in 2014. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I spent 16 years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade. I really had a calling for working with students that struggled understanding the concepts. After my son was born and it was determined that he had a learning disability, I decided to get a graduate degree in Special education. I now teaching children with a wide range of disabilities from Autism to Down Syndrome and everything in between. This has been the most rewarding decision in my adult life. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, running, and spending time with my husband and three children. We will often spend time with my parents fishing and enjoying the outdoors together.

I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and a ma in Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional and Behavioral Disorders from Georgia Southwestern State University. I am passionate about fostering K - 12 student confidence and celebrating their successes. My teaching philosophy centers on tailoring instruction to the unique strengths and interests of each student, ensuring that they not only grasp the material but also feel empowered in their learning journey. With a robust background in teaching AP English Literature and Composition, as well as elementary and middle school subjects, I have developed effective strategies to engage diverse learners. I have been honored with the Teacher of the Year Award three times across different schools, a testament to my commitment to my students' growth. I look forward to collaborating with new students to help them master challenging skills and achieve their academic goals!

I have been teaching math for 24 years. I have taught everything from 5th-grade math thru Algebra III. I received my bachelors of science degree in mathematics from The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in 1998. I received my masters of science degree in educational administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2005.
