I am a graduate from the University of Notre Dame, where I studied Philosophy, History, and Education, and this fall I am beginning Graduate School at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for a Master's in Library and Information Science. I have certifications in 5-12th grade English, Level 1 Google Education, and Level 5 Teaching English as a Foreign Language. During my time at Notre Dame and continuing to the present, I have held numerous positions in education, including tutoring, small-group leadership, classroom teacher, and trainer/supervisor. Most of my work has focused on middle school English, Social Studies, and literacy, but I have tutored in all subjects and all grade levels. The philosopher Plato once said that the purpose of education is to 'turn the soul' of the learner towards truth. I have made it my life's work to inspire this perspective shift and passion for learning in others, and I hope to continue to do so with your child.
