About Me

I'm currently a Stony Brook University student working toward a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. I tutor students in Calculus 1, Calculus 2, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, Pre-Calculus, and High School Physics. I have graded AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and Pre-Calculus tests. I have provided classroom instruction at Port Jefferson High School while assisting the Calculus teacher with students and their mathematical learning needs and their homework. I am very passionate about tutoring Calculus 1 and enjoy seeing my students succeed in their studies. From my college experience, Calculus 1 provides many fundamental concepts that apply in many real-world applications such as Physics and Economics. My belief in the importance of learning mathematics is rooted in the fact that it enables us to be creative problem solvers for many different obstacles that arise. In my free time, I enjoy tennis, video games, swimming, archery, and puzzles.
