About Me
I am a lifelong learner with a B.A in psychology (minor in philosophy) from Butler University, an M.S. in psychology from Walden University and an MSW (masters in social work) from Indiana University. I have been teaching graduate students for several years and am passionate about supporting students in their process. I enjoy tutoring human and social sciences, and if I had to pick a favorite topic I would say it is psychology because that is where my journey began. I am a believer in early reading and writing because this is the foundation of all other learning, and of being successful in life. I believe that every learner is unique and it is important to work with the strengths of the individual; it is my job to support the learner so that they may meet their goals. Aside from teaching and tutoring, I enjoy taking art courses, drawing, illustration and painting, and spending time with family and our animals.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy hiking, nature photography, art of all kinds, and spending time with family and our many rescue animals. My teen daughter and I also enjoy traveling several times a year.
