About Me

I have been an educator for 18 years, and I love working with students! Prior to becoming an educator, I worked as an RN in high-risk OB, labor and delivery, post-surgical settings, home health, case management, and research. As an educator, I have supported students in different settings and programs. I initially taught at traditional brick-and-mortar universities and transitioned to online teaching in 2008. Over the years, I have supported pre-and post-licensure students in PN, ADN, BSN, and MSN programs. I've also worked with students preparing for the NCLEX. I've taught a huge variety of courses, including Microbiology, Evidence-Based Practice, Health Assessment, and Pharmacology. My passion is supporting students in reaching their goals! I'm focused on student success, and I don't give up! My teaching style is very interactive and relaxed, and I tailor information so that students can learn in a way that is best for them. When tutoring students, I help them better organize and understand the content, assist with difficult concepts, and provide test-taking strategies. I look forward to helping you be successful and reach your educational goals!
