About Me

I am a current medical surgical nurse. I graduated with honors from a four-year RN-BSN program at Olivet Nazarene University. I have been tutoring for 8+ years for elementary aged students to adults. I am passionate about assisting students in becoming independent learners. I have experience in basic math, english, anatomy and physiology, psychology, biology, introduction to chemistry, and microbiology. I can also tutor basic german. Introduction to nursing (CNA course), pharmacology, adult health I (med-surg), health assessment, fundamentals of nursing, mental health, medical terminology, gerontology, critical care, are among the nursing classes that I can tutor. My teaching philosophy is that every student can succeed when given the right resources. My tutoring style is a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning. Outside of nursing I am a soccer coach and enjoy running. My favorite subject to tutor is anatomy and physiology.
