About Me

I recently graduated from Babson College with a bachelor's in Science. I was born in the Dominican Republic. I moved to the United States when I was eight years. Throughout my education career, I worked in a variety of different fields. The one thing that remained the same for me, was my mission to help others. I enjoy helping others because seeing them happy, makes me happy. In high school, I decided to run my own tutoring services, where I helped middle schoolers with their language levels, both English and Spanish. I also tutored in the math field. When it came to Algebra, I also frequently tutored my high school friends. One efficient strategy that worked for me was having the person I tutored, tutor me back. Having them teach me how to solve a problem, or how to pronounce or say something correctly, showed me if they learned something, or were still confused. I consider myself to be an outgoing person. Someone who likes to meet new people. I also liked solving problems. Combining these two, was where my passion for teaching began. When I was younger, I wanted to be a math teacher. It was something about standing next to the board and pointing out the series of steps I took in order to get to the correct answer. Enough said about me. I am here to serve as a resource.
