About Me

Incoming 1st-year medical student at the University of Florida and an experienced researcher. In the past, I have worked as a biology and chemistry tutor on the undergraduate level for the T.R.I.O. program at my college as well as a K-12 substitute teacher for the Volusia County school district. I have also worked on crustacean cell culture to study transepithelial ion transport as an R.E.U. intern. At the Mayo Clinic, I helped research the use of CRISPR constructsto to reduce alpha-synuclein during my time in the G.R.E.P. program. As a tutor, I will generally ask for examples of problems or a sample of the topic or assignment would be helping with beforehand so I can prepare tips for the student as well as make sure I am able to give my best. The topics I feel I the most comfortable working with are biology, math, and basic chemistry. Facts about me:My favorite topics include biology, algebra, and all of the subtopics that fall under them.
