I am hoping to help young minds feel inspired and empowered to contribute to the ever-changing field of STEM.I discovered tutoring a few years ago when I realized that the best way for me to master a subject was also by sharing my knowledge of the subject with others - so we could each succeed together. Mentoring is a big passion of mine so by tutoring young minds, it has allowed me to become a role model for some students as they navigate through their academic goals. I have have discovered ways to simplify complex subjects to others by improving note-taking skills, showing step-by-step work/examples, color-coding information, and making the topics within a subject more engaging. This has helped students make tutoring feel more fun rather than feel like a chore or "extra school."I have also managed to navigate a tutoring environment both in-person and virtual so I can easily adapt to current circumstances if needed.

I am a huge fan of anything Marvel - my favorite super-hero is definitely Thor. I love food - both eating it and cooking it :) I enjoy watching and playing sports - mainly soccer. I enjoy shopping, walking my dog, and binging tv shows when I relax on the weekends.
