About Me

I am a graduate of Colgate University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Biology. I minored in African-American Studies. Since graduating, I have become child care certified, tutored 3rd grade reading, taught 1st grade for two years and taught 3rd-4th grade special education (children with Autism) for a year. I truly enjoy teaching and seeing when students have an "ah ha " moment. I am a creative individual who likes coming up with fun games and activities that help students grasp the material in a new way. I love learning and imparting knowledge to others in unconventional ways. The subjects I tutor in are math, reading, science, history, writing, English/Language & Spanish. My favorite subject to tutor is Spanish because it is such a fun language and it is extremely beneficial to know! Hobbies: cooking, books, music, running, art, reading, writing
