About Me

I am a graduate from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I obtained my Bachelor's degree with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am a certified EC-6th Teacher as well as a certified Special Education Teacher EC-12th Grade. I am knowledgeable in all subjects in Elementary school (i.e math, reading, writing, and science).I am a fellow Houstonian who moved in 2019 to Dallas, Texas where I taught at my first charter school. I currently now work at a middle school as a Special Education Teacher for Inclusion students and ELA Fundamentals teacher. I love to make learning fun for students while differentiating instruction for students. I enjoy using technology and multiple strategies to engage students in learning. I strongly believe in the power of education and the ability for students to advocate for their learning. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, Jamming to music, exploring town, going to brunches, and checking out new spots around the city!
