About Me

My love of learning and teaching started at a young age. Teaching is a part of who I am. I believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn in a caring, fun and creative environment. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Riverside (UCR). I went through the Teacher Education Program through UCR in order to achieve my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential for California. I am also an ESL certified instructor. I have taught Pre-K through Grade 5 as a substitute and classroom teacher for over ten years in the USA, Cayman Islands, Turkey, Poland and Spain. I also taught English as a Second Language (ESL) during my teaching career. I am most passionate about Reading and History. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, learning about cultures, music and being around my family.
