I specialize in reading comprehension, critical interpretation, and writing composition. I believe language arts is a tool that shapes and transforms the world we want to live in. My goal as a tutor is to share not only the meaning of words, but why they are meaningful. I teach my students that reading is thinking, it is a conversation that you add to and continue on and off the page. I teach students how to find and use their voice to communicate specifically and effectively. I teach students in the ways they learn best and that learning does not end in the classroom, it is for a lifetime.

Other than reading and writing, I enjoy playing basketball, handicraft, classic movies, long podcasts, and running my small business, Wiggins' Words.
