About Me

I am a graduate of Georgia State University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a dual certification in ESL. I also have my gifted endorsement and I am currently working on a Teacher Support and Coaching Endorsement. I have taught upper elementary school for six years and I currently teach all subjects. I have a passion for working with students academically but I also believe that it is very important to have a great relationship with students. I love knowing that my students know I care about their academics, but I also care about their mental and physical well being. The moment when that "lightbulb" goes off and students finally understand, is one of the best parts of teaching. Knowing that students are feeling confident in themselves and the subjects they are working on is the greatest reward.
