About Me
During my time as an undergraduate, I spent two and a half years working as a tutor and a teaching assistant for Human Anatomy and Physiology. I tutored middle school math and science during my time at Linfield as well. I am passionate about teaching not only subject material, but also helping students discover how they learn best. I believe that learning how you learn is the most important step in your path to success as a student. By using the subject material as a vehicle, I am excited by the opportunity to help students discover study methods and strategies that work best for them, and that they can apply to future classes as they progress in their academic endeavors. While my favorite subjects to tutor are anatomy and physiology, I am also happy to tutor students in biology, kinesiology, middle school math and science, english, and essay writing, among others. For the past two years, I have worked clinically in both pediatric cardiology as well as adult advanced heart failure cardiology. My clinical experience coupled with my dedication to academics has allowed my to be accepted into Physician Assistant school! While I am excited to embark on my masters degree, I am equally as excited to help you or your child excel in the classroom. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, and playing volleyball.
Hobbies & Interests
While my biggest passion lies in medicine, I also love cooking, reading, playing and coaching volleyball, and getting outside and exploring all nature has to offer.
