As a teacher, I worked to create an environment where learning could be an enjoyable process. I got my teaching degree from Purdue University in Indiana and began a career as an educator in Charlotte, NC. As a teacher, I worked with high school students. I have 8 years of experience tutoring elementary students in both Indianapolis and Charlotte. I love working with students of all ages and differentiating instruction to best fit each student's needs.

I love spending my free time outdoors. I enjoy hiking, biking, and running. I also love to read a wide range of fiction and nonfiction books. I spent five years as a teacher and I have taught many history classes. I love reading about historical events and their connections to the current world.
