About Me

Hi I'm Miss Nelson (Yes, just like the book "Miss Nelson Is Missing"),Thank you for considering me as your possible tutor. Before you make your decision, you should know some things about me. I am currently an elementary school teacher and teaching is my passion. I teach reading/ELA, math, and science. My goal is to give students an opportunity to learn in a safe, family oriented environment. I believe every student is able to excel, as long as he/she is willing to work hard, never give up and remain consistent. I too had to overcome many challenges on my journey to becoming a teacher. I had wonderful educators who helped me along the way, and I aim to continue extending the same aid to my students. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am a certified teacher for grades k-6. I've been teaching for 4 years and tutoring for over 5 years.
