Of course, everyone has different learning styles, strengths, and challenges. My job is to teach the material in a way that best aligns with individual students' needs. I especially love teaching math because many students seem to dislike math and assume they are not "good" at math. It's fun to see them recognize that they can develop skills to comprehend much more than they ever thought possible. I have a teacher's license with a master's degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Middle School Math and CLD (culturally and linguistically diverse learners). While I no longer teach as my main career, I enjoy tutoring very much and am grateful for the opportunity to still teach.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our dog, and our extended family living nearby. I like to be outdoors, walking, hiking, and exploring. Reading about a variety of subjects and fiction is fun for me. I also love math-related puzzles, brainteasers and logic games. When I have time, cooking is really fun for me.
