About Me
During my time at Northwestern, I enjoyed being both a teaching assistant for a first grade class and an after school tutor for grades 1-4 at the Roycemore School's Extended Day Program. Understanding and teaching elementary school students has become a passion of mine as I get to watch these students not only excel in their academic studies but also learn and grow as human beings. I seek to find constructive learning methods for these students that are intertwined with creative outlets for the student to express themselves and learn about habits of being great leaders. I specifically enjoy teaching German Language because of both its meaning in my personal heritage and in the vast culture Germany contains. It is an appreciation for culture as citizens of the world that is a vital part of learning foreign languages. In my free time, I enjoy discovering new recipes to cook, composing music, going to the gym, and reading or writing poetry.
