About Me

I am a graduate of Mary Washington College (now the University of Mary Washington) in Fredericksburg, VA. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I have a Masters of Science degree in Biology from the University of Richmond. I have been teaching primarily at the college level for more than 25 years, in the subjects of Biology and Environmental Science. I have been tutoring for more than 10 years to both high school and college students in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science. I like to encourage my students, giving them the skills they need to succeed in their science courses. I hope the students will develop an appreciation for our world and the role for each of us.
