As a member of the National Honor Society in high school and the engineering honor society at Cornell, I've tutored high school and college students in a variety of subjects, and I have also acted as a student teacher for a high school research class. I teach a variety of subjects, but my favorite ones to teach are STEM and English-related subjects. I particularly enjoy helping students with their writing skills and working one-on-one with them to revise and edit essays or other written works. My goal as a tutor is to help students gain an understanding of the material in a comfortable and positive environment. I understand that everyone learns in a different way and at a different pace, and I'm happy to adjust my teaching style to suit an individual student's needs! In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside by running, biking, or swimming. I'm an avid reader and I love to travel, try new foods, and meet new people!
