Not only did this make me realize that it made me understand those topics better, but more importantly, it made me feel good knowing that I was able to teach something to someone successfully. This passion evolved as I became a paid tutor for the SAT test in my senior year of high school, a teaching assistant for Calc IV in my third semester of college, and a residential tutor for Organic Chemistry in my fourth semester of college. Currently, my favorite subjects to tutor are Chemistry, the SAT, and Algebra/Calculus I. I can make complex concepts and questions simpler by implementing various tips and tricks that I have learned throughout my time of learning and teaching these subjects. My teaching philosophy revolves around my belief that everyone can learn a subject, they just have to be taught the right way.

Aside from tutoring, my hobbies include biking, playing tennis, playing the piano. watching horror movies, and reading books in the thriller genre. On a more academic note, I have recently gained interest in stem cell research involving preventing/combatting brain aneurysms through a research position I am in at Stony Brook University.
