I received my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 2019. I'm currently working on my Masters in Neuroscience and Applied Cognition. Since graduation, I have been tutoring pre-med subjects including Chemistry, Biology, and Neuroscience. I particularly enjoy tutoring these subjects since I am passionate about understanding the mind, brain, body, and their relationship to each other on all scales. At UTD, I gained experience being a Teaching Assistant for neuroanatomy and working as a General Chemistry supplemental instruction (SI) leader for the student success center at the university. There, I held multiple sessions a week, reviewing concepts, and helping a group of students work together to solve challenging problems. I love helping students gain a passion for learning. My approach is to help my students gain a strong understanding of the fundamentals which will allow them to understand complex concepts. I like to help students gain confidence in the subjects we are working on which they can carry on to the rest of their academic careers.
