An alumnus of the University of Kentucky, I graduated this past May with a degree in Biology and Business Management, minoring in Economics and International Business, and am headed to medical school in the fall. As a student, both in college and in high school, I have always found enjoyment and fulfillment in being able to share knowledge through the process of tutoring. In college, I worked for a volunteer learning center in the biology department, tutoring other college students in introductory biology, genetics, evolution, and biochemistry, among other biology subjects; in high school, I taught classes for the ACT, with credibility based on my own performance in the exam, to raise donations for a nonprofit. Regardless of the topic and of my own tutoring ability, I believe that the proliferation of content and accomplishment on the internet shows that with time and dedication, anyone can learn anything. I aspire to take the time and dedication to help you accomplish the true learning that education aspires to impart. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching sports of all kinds, love skiing, playing basketball, soccer, and ultimate frisbee, reading about all kinds of science and societal topics, and appreciate keeping up with what I one day want to make a career out of: public health.
