About Me

I am excited to share my heart with you regarding education and how I have (in the past) and hope to (in the future) make an impact for generations to come. Let me start first with my first passion; people and my desire to communicate with them! I entered into education because of my love of languages. First, I pursued and achieved fluency in Spanish. I wanted to learn the native languages of my father's heritage, so I also studied and achieved conversational language abilities in Portuguese as well. I rounded out my love of languages with a year of both Latin and Mandarin Chinese. Essentially, I went through a phase of wanting to learn every language because I wanted to speak with as many people as possible, I even studied linguistics and the International Phonetic Alphabet so that I would be able to transcribe any language should the need arise, rather or not I spoke the language.
