Some subjects come naturally, others not so much. And so I consider different approaches. It's important to me to build a rapport with students. I am the mother of two adult children who during their education had the need for tutoring. As I shared with my children, tutoring does not mean you have a deficiency, it's simply means you need someone to help you learn in a different way than what you were being taught. For adult learners, professional development has been a significant part of my management of employees. Lastly, I'm a big believer in positive reinforcement and only positive. Just by attending a tutoring session is a positive step and so each session begins on a positive note. I possess a bachelor of arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master of international management with a concentration in international trade and finance from the Thunderbird school of global management.

I play the piano, and look forward to my time at the bench each day. Classical music, jazz, blues are my favorite. Exercise is important to me and so is eating healthfully. Travel is my passion along with life-long learning.
