I graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in statistics and double minor in mathematics and computer science. I have seven years of experience tutoring students in middle school, high school, and college. My goal is to help students develop their math abilities by strengthening their problem-solving skills and improving their study habits. I aim to accomplish this goal by assisting students to break down academic concepts into understandable pieces. My tutoring style encourages students to solidify new concepts by checking over their work. When students are able to catch mistakes, they are less likely to make them again in the future. The reflective nature of my tutoring style regards mistakes as an opportunity for growth.
