About Me

I received my Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina in 2014. I received my Master of Science in Marine and Atmospheric Science from Stony Brook University in 2016. I have experience as a TA for undergraduate lab sections and experience mentoring undergraduates. I am available to tutor for ecology, environmental science, and microbiology. My favorite subject to tutor is ecology because it is what I do every day at my job. My teaching philosophy is to find a way to convey information that is tailored to how each student learns, since everyone learns differently. Outside of academia, I am a marathon runner and am very passionate about fitness. I also enjoy reading and am teaching myself how to code.
