About Me

Education is a pursuit of knowledge proven through academic excellence. This definition does not capture the broader experience and formative effects on a persons physical ability, character, and mind. My start in tutoring was for student organizations in chemistry and mathematics as well as organizations I led, including Panther Linux User Group. It wasn't until I was recommended for the Learning Assistant Program in Florida International University to tutor Calculus, that I became responsible for a classroom of students for semester-long periods and tutored professionally. I have a competitive spirit proven from two years in intercollegiate competitive programming contests representing and sponsored by Florida University International, communication skills from years in teaching, student organizations and sales, and a can-do attitude.
