About Me

I'm a sophomore at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute studying chemical engineering with a minor in sustainability studies. Outside of school, I perform research at RPI. As part of my research, I perform experiments with vegetable dyes native to Ghana to discover an alternative to synthetic dyes causing water pollution. I am also an active member of Chemistry Society in which I network, organize and volunteer at club events, and perform chemistry demonstrations and presentations as outreach to encourage younger students to become more involved in STEM.I am my class' RPI Class of 2020 Representative. This means that I collaborate as part of the class council to plan class events and fundraisers. I also am a member of Resident Student Association where I lead groups as event chair organizing events and communicates as the liaison for the Learning Assistants and Resident Assistants of the hall. I am active in my school's Outing Club and am organizing and running the welcome day hike for the incoming freshman.
