I am a people-person, and I love helping people succeed in all discourses--academic, social, and professional. I like to make learning fun and interesting by finding topics people can relate to, and I think hands-on and interactive lessons are key to student success. For English Learners, it is important to incorporate a person's first language and culture into lessons as a way of assimilating and adapting new practices.
