As a tutor I understand that each student learns at their own pace. I focus on mastery based learning where the student must demonstrate adequate aptitude in the theoretical and practical aspects of a subject before we move on to a different one. Emphasis is placed on teaching principles and nurturing independent thought for problem solving. As a tutor, I rely on being patient, having dynamic lessons, and on demonstrating how various aspects of a subject tie together and build upon each other.
