About Me

I am a student at Georgetown University working towards a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management & Policy, and I plan to attend medical school after graduation with the goal of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. For the last few years I have been working as a tutor in a variety of subjects, mentoring students both in Washington, D.C. and my home state of New Jersey. Because of my educational background that combines the rigorous science of the pre-med curriculum and the myriad fields included in management and policy analysis, I can not only tutor several subjects, but also relate new or difficult topics to my students preexisting knowledge to improve understanding and conceptualization of the material. I have found that, with discipline and consistent effort, students are able to attain complete mastery of subjects they previously struggled with. Consequently, while the material itself is important, I also work with my students to develop productive routines and build consistency in their personal studying habits. I dedicate myself to my students success, and I am willing to work through any manner of difficulties with those students who put forth a determined effort. Lastly, I am flexible and willing to work with the varied schedules of my students, recognizing that there may be weeks where you must prioritize other endeavors. Outside of academia, my hobbies include personal training, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and weightlifting; carpentry and basic woodworking; hiking, camping, and the outdoors; and more.
